We named one of our kilns after Dolly Parton. She was kind, fierce, and sparkly under pressure — and that felt like exactly the right energy for a kiln.

 

On September 25th, we're opening the studio in her honor. Wheel throwing, hand building, good people, and every dollar of proceeds going to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, the program she started in 1995 to mail free books to children from birth to age five, because she believed every child deserved to dream big.

Your registration is a donation. Choose between bringing books to the studio or making a monetary contribution directly to Imagination Library. Either way, you're keeping her legacy going.

Wheel Throwing | Two Seatings
5:00pm - 6:00pm — select 1st Seating at registration
6:30pm - 7:30pm — select 2nd Seating at registration

 

Hand Building | Two Seatings 
5:00pm - 6:15pm — select 1st Seating at registration

6:30pm - 7:45pm — select 2nd Seating at registration

 

A few things to know:

• Pre-registration is required. Walk-ins for Wheel Throwing will not be accommodated. Although we will be able to accommodate Hand Building Walk-ins. 

• Space for Wheel Throwing will be limited, so if you are interested in that please make sure to register.

• Your donation (books or monetary gift to Imagination Library) is your ticket to attend. Donations will be accepted on site at the event.

• All proceeds from the evening benefit Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.

• This is an open studio style event - very little teaching will be available — come for an hour, stay for two, make something worth keeping.

 

We'll have our kiln Dolly fired up and ready. Come add your sparkle.
