OPEN STUDIO EVENT

Art - the Forgotten 5th Pillar of Health
Saturday, May 16th, 12-4pm
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and we wanted to do more than acknowledge it. This Open Studio Event is built around a simple but powerful idea: that creativity isn't a luxury — it's a component of health.
Come throw on a wheel. Build something with your hands. Put your phone down for a few hours and make something that didn't exist before you walked in. Our members and staff will be on hand to guide you. No experience necessary, no pressure. Just show up and see what happens.
This is a donation-encouraged event. All proceeds from the day will be donated to The Goldfinch Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to empowering young people to lead the conversation on mental wellness. Through hands-on experiences in the arts, nature, and movement, they bring together mental health professionals, educators, and creatives to help teens and families build real-world resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connection
We're also proud to partner with Nashville Psych, a Nashville-based practice committed to making mental health care more accessible, more honest, and less stigmatized. Their team will be on site to share more about their work and connect with our community.
You'll have the opportunity to learn more about both organizations on the day.
