Julia Ducayet
Julia is a passionate potter and dedicated teacher, specializing in hand-built forms that blend function with artistry. Primarily self-taught, she finds inspiration in simplicity and the beauty of imperfection, crafting pieces that evoke a sense of tranquility. As the founder of Ceramic Souls, she is committed to fostering a welcoming space where people can create, connect, and grow together.

Rachael Johnson
Rachael Johnson was raised to appreciate art of all mediums. She has found a way to connect her love for clay and community while teaching. Helping people learn about their talents and creativity is what Rachael loves most about ceramics. Rachael is a fun and inspiring teacher - take a class with her and you'll laugh as much as you learn!

Ash Atterberry
Ash Atterberry of Handwings Ceramics, is currently based in Nashville, TN. For the last 5 years she has had a studio space at Elephant Gallery in North Nashville. Her work focuses on hand building techniques to tell stories through clay, utilizing surface decoration with color and carving to bring her work to life.

Megan Shell
Megan, is a ceramic artist specializing in wheel-thrown functional pottery. With a bachelor's degree in ceramics, her work centers on creating pieces that are not only visually engaging but also thoughtfully designed for everyday use and comfort. As a natural teacher, she finds joy in helping others grow and discover their creative voices, encouraging them with her personal motto: "there are no rules." Through her craft and teaching, she aims to foster an environment where exploration and authenticity are celebrated.
Autumn Soto
Autumn has been a creative spirit her whole life, exploring many artistic avenues before ceramics stole her heart. She loves crafting functional forms that are both useful and bring a little extra joy to everyday life. Passionate about sharing the magic of clay, she finds fulfillment in introducing others to the purposeful joy of creating with their hands.

Matalyn Newbury
Matalyn is a Nashville born and raised artist with a passion for functional and sculptural hand built pieces. Having grown up in her aunt’s art classroom, she’s always had a love for sharing her appreciation for art with younger minds. Through teaching she hopes to encourage the next generation of artists to get their hands dirty!

Le Dillingham
Le Dillingham is a maker and teacher based in Nashville, TN. While their practice is centered in ceramics, they work across mediums, but always return to their one true love - teaching. Le considers themself an eternal student and is passionate about fostering the creative impulse in all people. Students can expect a skill-focused classroom environment imbued with warmth, humor, and gentle encouragement.

Coleen Solitro
Originally from rural Connecticut, Coleen has had a passion for ceramics since she was a child. The creativity and guarantee of uniqueness of each piece has always drawn her to the art. Outside of ceramics, Coleen loves music, cooking, and a good burger. Between travelling the world and creating in the studio, her 9-5 is at the cross section of Nashville's entertainment and sports industries.


Ellie Aldrich
Ellie Aldrich is a Nashville-based artist and educator who earned her BFA from Western Michigan University in 2024. Guided by curiosity, she explores clay in unconventional ways, from processing river clay to letting gravity shape her forms. By day, she’s a high school art teacher who loves fostering close observation, perseverance, and authentic self-expression. Ellie’s classes are playful, exploratory, and rooted in process.
Coleen Solitro
